How does Monstrous work? 

Monstrous is a child-friendly festival experience for the Family

What is the age range for Monstrous?

Monstrous is a festival for the whole family, babies in arms are welcome; free of charge. We have one designated area for the under 4's (no big kids allowed!). Any child that is not classed as a baby in arms (a child that cannot walk) will have to purchase a valid ticket.


Do we have to pay for anything once inside?

For a one-off ticket price, you can go on whatever you want, as many times as you want. The only thing you have to pay for once inside is your food, drink, lockers & merchandise.

 


What is available for adults At Monstrous?

Adults are welcome to join in the fun on most of the fairground rides and certain inflatables. The disco is for everyone to enjoy, just as The Great Outdoors is perfect for the whole family.

Does Monstrous cater for children with disabilities & mobility requirements?

All Arenas have wheelchair access. Parking is also available for Blue Badge users. Please email info@monstrouscreations.co.uk for further info using subject disability Parking


Do we need to purchase a ticket in advance?

Advance tickets are essential.

You will also need to book a session

9:00am – 1:30pm or

2:30pm – 7:00pm

NO ENTRY BETWEEN 1.30pm - 2.30pm

Monstrous reserve the right to cancel any tickets that have been issued in error.

No re-admissions.

In the event of event cancellation, only the face value of the ticket will be refunded.

The organisers reserve the right to refuse admission.


Can I amend or cancel my booking?

Amendments to any tickets cannot be made.

Full refunds & cancellations are not available.


Do I need to print my ticket?

All tickets are E-Tickets. You can print or show the tickets on your smart phone. All tickets are scanned upon entry. An email confirmation will have been sent to you. 

Missing Ticket confirmations:

Free email providers like Gmail, Hotmail etc File ticket confirm PDF’s into Spam / Junk Folders, please check in those folders first and foremost

(if you are still missing them or have deleted them in error please email us again using  subject missing tickets  we will also need the email address you used to book / the session you bookedie: morning, afternoon or all day and the date  you purchased)


What should I do if I did not receive my E-ticket?

Please check Spam & Junk folders for your e-tickets


How long is our Monstrous experience?

Each session is 4.5hrs.

VIP silver and gold  is all day 9am to 7pm (no entry between 1.30pm-2.30pm)

All day Pass is 10:30pm – 7pm

 
 

What time should I arrive at Monstrous?

Please arrive 30mins before your session start time.

No Parking is available on site


Can my child be left alone once inside Monstrous festival?

We advise children should be supervised at all times. Ultimately, it is the parents’ decision, when to leave their child unsupervised.

There will be designated meeting points within Monstrous plus digital clocks in each zone so that you can arrange times to meet your children. Monstrous staff will also be on hand and are happy to help.

No re-entry is permitted within your session times.

 
 

What activities are available for my children?

Activities/Line ups may change at the organiser’s discretion.

Can I bring my own food and drink?

No. All food & drink can only be purchased on site. Baby food & baby milk are permitted.


Do you have a cloak room and lockers?

We have lockers, buggy storage and cloakrooms. 


Can I take pushchair / buggy around with me? 

You can take strollers & pushchairs around with you if you have a child under 4. There are two buggy parks on site.


Where can I find Lost Property?

Lost property will be handed into our Lockers & Buggy Room, once found at Monstrous.

The Customer Service team will manage the process of reconciling items.

Monstrous cannot accept responsibility for items lost or stolen on premises. Please email lostproperty@montrouscreations.co.uk


Is there a dress code?

There is no dress code but we advise that your children wear comfortable clothing & shoes (definitely have a pair of socks with them).  Sandals & flip-flops may prevent them going on certain activities.


Do you offer refunds?

Our tickets are non-refundable.


Do you offer a group discount?

You can bring a group to Monstrous. Please see our Tickets page for prices.
